Damon Sauve published the first issue of Oyster Boy Review in 1994 in Gainesville, Florida, where, at the university, he studied creative writing as an undergraduate with Harry Crews. His bibliographic work on the author has been published in The Southern Quarterly and in Getting Naked with Harry Crews, Perspectives on Harry Crews, and Southern Writers: A New Biographical Dictionary. Damon is a software engineer for an Internet company in San Francisco and lives with his wife and baby girl in Pacifica.
Poetry Editor
Born and raised in Kannapolis, Jeffery Beam works as the Assistant to the Biology Librarian in the Botany Library at UNC-Chapel Hill. He has published over 12 books and recordings and received numerous awards for his work, including three American Library Association Notable Book nominations, an IPPY small press book award, a Durham Arts Council Emerging Artist Grant, a Duke University Chronicle award, and a grant from the Mary Duke Biddle Foundation. His spoken word CD was a finalist for the only national-scope audio awards, a 2003 Audie. Beam is also a contributing editor to Arabesques Review. Josh Citrak is the editor and publisher of Slouch Magazine, a frequent contributor to Small Spiral Notebook, and the author of many published pieces both fiction and non. Josh lives in Portland, OR, and sometimes get very lonely for San Francisco.

David Preece lives in Northamptonshire, Great Britain, where he works with children with autism. He sporadically writes very short poems which can be found under his Egg Press imprint. His work has appeared in Oyster Boy Review in the past.

Lucy Harrison lives and works in Tallahassee, Florida. Twice winner of eScene's Best Online Fiction award, she was a student of Harry Crews' at the University of Florida. She has working on her second novel.
